The staff here is incredibly friendly, the rooms are well-equipped, and the restaurant serves delicious Indonesian cuisine in a beautiful outdoor setting with a Bali-inspired design.

Bunga Permai has the simply lovliest staff in all the world! During my stay my husband had an accident and the staff here were vigilant, caring and kind beyond words. Bunga Permai has local village staff and that is a blessing, they played football with my son and took care of him while I was hospital visiting. It is outside of the traffic jams of Ubud which is also a blessing. The food is scrumptious and the rooms are very sweet, the garden is pretty and I loved hearing the river flow in the gorge below. I will be back without doubt, thank you bp people.

Great service, I really enjoyed good food.
It made my trip to Ubud a perfect experience. Booked a room with lovely views of the hills.

The rooms at Hotel Bunga Permai are spacious and comfortable, with a natural feel thanks to the teak wooden furniture. I loved the private en suite bathroom and the cozy seating area where I could relax and unwind. The air conditioning and safety deposit box added to my convenience.
I personally found the terrace a bit smaller than expected.

Watching the dawn illuminate the jungle while we led in bed in the morning. the glass doors gave a great view across our balcony to the surrounding treetops - note we had an upstairs room! Note: similar views are available at places that are much closer to central Ubud. This place is too far to be convenient but facilities are not good enough for a stay-at-the- hotel and lounge by the pool vacation.
Staff were disinterested & unhelpful; food is poor compared to every other hotel we ate at; ants everywhere (ie all over dining tables!); pictures are better than reality; in Bali food is so cheap (we ate streetside 1 day for 3000rp (45c/20p) for two meals) this hotel is scroogelike with breakfast - only 1 egg, no milk (not even for tea), only juice or coffee/tea (every other hotel gave us both juice and coffee/tea). It's the little things that really make a stay & this place has zero idea on how to provide them. Lastly, the credit card machine was broken when we checked out - we used all the cash we had but were 110,000 short (about $11 usd) instead of waiving it they insisted we drive out of our way to an atm - poor service!

I liked the staff and amenities
The snake in the pool and the bugs and there was no hot water the last two days there

we really liked the view from our room which was on the first floor, Indonesian breakfast (Nasi Goreng or Bubur Ayam) was tasty
My wife was severely bitten overnight in our bedroom, which was just with a fan. Probably bedbugs or ants, we did not see many mosquitos. It ruined the rest of her vacation. The food for dinner was very disappointing, she had Ikan Bakar Dabu Dabu, which should be fresh baked fish with a spicy sauce, it were pieces fish that were probably frozen and it was not spicy at all, I had a Thai style soup which also was not spicy at all. Finally staff was not professional, some were friendly other did not show much motivation, in the evening they took the few seats in the lobby area to look their TV programs. Location of hotel was too far from Ubud and hotel had not enough facilities to spend all day there.

This place is charming and tidy, situated in a peaceful area a bit away from the hustle and bustle of the town. It's just a short stroll away from a beautiful garden blooming with all kinds of flowers 🌺.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff was very nice and welcoming. The rooms were also beautiful with a great view!
It was often so quiet that it was hard to find staff members to help out or ask a question. The location of the hotel was also further from Ubud center than expected, but taxis are easy to get.

As a guest with disabilities, I found the rooms to be very comfortable and accommodating for my specific needs.
Personally, I found the seating area in certain rooms to be a bit lacking. But that's just my opinion, others may still enjoy it.

Great location in a peaceful area with views of a volcano and beautiful gardens. Nearby, there's a nice bar and restaurant called D'star Bar & Resto, just a short 10-minute walk from here. 🍹

I chose this hotel for attending a workshop because it provides a convenient location for business travelers. The staff were friendly and the facilities were satisfactory for my needs.
The one service that I missed for my work was a reliable and fast internet connection.
